Time and again my poetic side just overpowers my instict to write a simple post. That is when my shoots become my muse and words begin to flow.
Wander the rivers, wander the plains,
Wander the forests and where it rains
Wander the seas and mountains high
Wander the deserts and see where the oasis lie
Have you ever stepped on the ocean floor
Or seen the stars go bright more and more
Have you ever blown a dandelion goodbye
Or kissed the sun with a bright blue sky
Have you walked through tiny lanes and cobbled streets
Or seen where the vast oceans meet
Have you wandered the earth without a clue
Lost in its beauty and ever changing hue
Has your soul ever been more at rest
Than when you wander through nature's best
