Smokey eyes has flooded the internet and every fashion circle since its very inception. It creates a beautiful look if done right - and let me reiterate 'only if done right' It pains me to see smokey eyes gone wrong and girls still sporting it. There are a few things which you should remember when it comes to smokey eyes.
Smokey eyes does not mean putting a lot of kohl or black eyeshadow and smudging it. Well then it makes you look like you have been punched in the eye.
For a basic smokey eyes a lot of greys, white or borwn is used. As black has the 'quality' of spreading like wildfire, it has the tendancy to go drastically wrong when out of control. So apply only the necessary amount of black and things shall be fine.
Avoid red, berry or any kind of bright lips with smokey eyes. You can only do that if you are going for a night out and your outfit goes well with it. Mostly try sticking to nude and subtle shades of pink for the lips.
Just because smokey eyes are in rage does not mean you have to have smokey eyes for each and every event you go to.
There is not a single smokey eyes to follow. You can try variations with it once you master the basic smokey eyes.
